Adrian Schools II - Parent Reimbursement Form (CTE only)

 The following information pertains to all Adrian School District students that are involved in CTE courses. If this applies to you or your student, please continue reading. The Adrian School District has been given limited funds from the State of Missouri to reimburse individuals for expenses incurred as Career and Technical Education students. These funds became available in the wake of the COVID pandemic to help offset the cost of CTE. 

Under this program, the district may reimburse parents, guardians, or students for the following costs associated with CTE:

• Industry Recognized Credentials & Stackable Credentials

• DESE-approved Technical Skills Attainments

• Dual credit earned (successfully completed) from a CTE class

• Equipment and clothing purchased by the parent/guardian or student are required for the student’s CTE training. Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Industry/school-specific professional/technical dress (uniforms, career-specific clothing, official CTSO-required clothing)

  • Industry-specific tools (including those purchased using industry-sponsored discounts)

  • Industry-specific equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The district may reimburse any eligible cost incurred between March 13, 2020, and September 30, 2023.

The original itemized receipt must be provided to obtain a refund. Reimbursements will be made on a first-come, first-served basis for all allowable items with itemized receipts.

Submission window #2 will run Friday, February 3, 2023, through Saturday, April 1, 2023. Submissions will be reviewed, and approved reimbursements can expect award notification in May 2023. Submissions will be accepted until funds are depleted, or the grant eligibility timeline expires. Checks will be mailed to the parents/guardians/student at the address provided in the form.
