Congratulations to the Elementary May Blackhawk Pride Award winners! From Mrs. Lewis, Elementary Counselor: "These students were recognized by their teachers for being exceptionally respectful, responsible and safe. Way to go, Blackhawks!!"

The Adrian Blackhawks Football Team received their State Championship rings tonight in a special ceremony. The seven seniors who led the team to a state title came together one last time to show their championship rings. Waiting in the wings to lead the Blackhawks next fall are the juniors, who along with the sophomores and freshmen will continue to practice hard and give their best every single play. Congratulations, Blackhawks!
Heather Bridges of NextHome Gadwood Group was presented an End-of-the-Year Friend of the School Award for her support of the Adrian School District. She serves as a volunteer for the Athletic and Music Booster Clubs, and PTO. Heather goes above and beyond to frequently show appreciation to the entire staff. Thank you, Heather!

On Saturday, May 10th, Emily Carver (4th Grade), Tye Elder (4th grade), Madelyn Bendorf (5th grade), and Ryker Zerbe (5th grade) attended the state level of the Mathleague.org tournament in Columbia, MO. Ms. Traci Rugg, 4th Grade Math Teacher, said: "While they didn’t finish as they had hoped, they worked hard and competed well."

Fourth and 5th graders were given the opportunity to apply to be a library buddy. If selected, they would decorate display shelves, help keep the library organized, and serve as a reading advocate to other students.

Katelyn Janish was named as the Cass Career Center (CCC) Outstanding Senior from Adrian High School! She was presented with this prestigious award at the CCC awards ceremony last Thursday, along with several scholarships.
